Fort Collins Wedding Photographer, Red Feather Lakes: Sheryl & Greg

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I LOVE it when a friend ask me to be photograph an event in their life!  I consider it a huge compliment and feel especially honored to share in that special moment.  So, you can imagine my excitement when my friend Sheryl ask me to photograph her wedding to Greg. I’ve known Sheryl almost as long as I’ve lived in Colorado. She is a beautiful individual with a sweet soul.  And although I had never had the pleasure to meet Greg until the actually wedding day, I knew he would be just as sweet and cool as Sheryl.

Sheryl and Greg chose to get married at Beaver Meadows Ranch about one hour west of Fort Collins. The idea for the ceremony location was to take a sleigh ride up into the forest to an intimate spot Greg had chosen the weeks before. However, for those of you that live in Colorado, we all know how the weather doesn’t always have our best interest in mind.

As I arrived at the resort March 3, 2012, the wind gusts were up to 50-70 mph. I knew at that moment they would not be having the ceremony outside. Instead, the 2 love birds decided to say their I Do’s inside a tiny, cozy warming hut on the resort. We spent the next 2 hours taking pictures mostly inside the hut before dashing outside for a few more fun photos.

Congratulation Sheryl and Greg! I had a fabulous time documenting your wedding. I want to wish you a lifetime of happiness.  Xoxoxo, Gretchen

Feel free to leave a comment for the happy couple and/or the fabulous photographer!!

Wow, these photographs are amazing! My brother and Sheryl are just beautiful! The pictures are very crisp and clear. His brown and her blue eyes are even more bright in these photos. We enjoyed viewing them.
