Archer chose a rural mountain setting for her senior portrait session last October. We started the shoot just over an hour before sunset and spent the rest of our time meandering around a private lake near her home in Gilpin County.  There is always the chance of nasty, cold weather this time of year in high county, but thankfully, the lighting and fall colors were ideal with warm, rich tones.
