WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
Canon! My gear includes Professional-grade Canon bodies, leses, and external lighting equipement.
HOW MANY HOURS OF COVREAGE WILL WE NEED?
Every wedding is unique in styling & timing... that is why Gretchen Sechler creates custom packages based on your specific needs. With that said, Gretchen's preferred amount of coverage is eight hours. This is the perfect amount of time to tell your story without feeling rushed and capturing all the important details & moments.
HOW MANY IMAGES COMES IN THE COLLECTION?
Gretchen produces approxiamelty 40-60 images per each hour of coverage.
WHEN DO WE GET TO SEE OUR WEDDING COLLECTION?
There is a 2-3 week turnaround time after the event to cull and professional edit the wedding collection. Gretchen Sechler will send you an email invitation to access your online gallery. The gallery is password protected and has a secure shopping cart for ordering prints if you wish.
HOW WILL WE RECEIVE OUR FINAL IMAGES?
The wedding collection is available for download in three various file sizes via the the online gallery: Original, High-resolution, and Web. The bridal couple receives a print release for personal usage only.
DO WE RECEIVE RIGHTS TO THE IMAGES?
The client will receive personal print and sharing rights only. Gretchen Sechler retains all copyright to the images and may use any image for promotional and advertising purposes without the client's written consent.
WHAT TYPE OF ALBUMS DO YOU OFFER?
Gretchen Sechler creates Custom Signature Flush Mount Albums by Album Epoca out of Italy. There are no borders or mattes like you would find with traditional albums and have a more modern look to the album. The bridal couple will caliborate with Gretchen to finalize the layout and design for the album.
HOW DO WE BOOK WITH YOU?
Gretchen Sechler requires a signed contract along with a 30% retainer fee in order to reserve your wedding date. The retainer fee is non-refunable. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your event. If the wedding is booked within 30 days of the event date, the entire package amount is due at that time. Gretchen accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.
CAN YOU HOLD MY WEDDING DATE?
Gretchen Sechler does not hold wedding dates and accept bookings on a first come first served basis.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL? CAN I GET MY RETAINER BACK?
Because the retainer fee guarantees that Gretchen holds your date exclusively for you & turn down all other commissions for that date, the retainer is non-refundable. However, Gretchen is happy to reschedule your event if needed.
DO YOU RECOMMEND AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
YES! An engagment session is a fun way to get to know each other in preparation for your wedding day. The session also gives you a chance to warm up to being in front of the camera before the big day.
CAN YOU HELP US DECIDE ON A LOCATION FOR OUR ENGAGMENT SESSION?
All engagement sessions are photographed outdoor in nature or a favorite spot where you met or in the client's home. Gretchen has photographed all Colorado and is happy to recommend location options depending on your style.
WHAT DO I WEAR FOR MY ENGAGEMENT SHOOT?
Once we have selected the location, time and date for your shoot, Gretchen is happy to schedule a wardrobe consultation over the phone.
